Support Center

Please read our guidelines

In an effort to answer all tickets within 24 hours, WDT media has created a new customer support policy, designed to make it easier for our support champs to answer your questions faster and better. Please note this new policy goes into effect October 25, 2011...

  1. Only 1 question or topic per support ticket. If you have issues that are related to each other, please do include them in your initial support ticket. But if you have different questions or topics, you will need to open a support ticket for each topic or question. (Please note, tickets are answered in the order received, so opening multiple tickets for the same questions will only delay your response time.)
  2. No custom work provided. We had to stop offering anything that is beyond explaining how to use the product. Any custom work request will be politely declined and/or referred to third-party developers you might want to work with.
  3. Our support team endeavors to reply to all tickets within 24 hours, except on weekends and holidays. If you haven't received an initial answer within 24 hours, please open your initial ticket and ask what's going on. Our system will automatically elevate the status of your ticket.

when I refine my data set down from alberta to edmonton the count does not change, I don't want businesses outside of Edmonton so does this drop down to a fewer number that I do not see?
Thanks,

Hi Kelly,

Thanks for writing in.
I'm sorry you're having problems with Dominating Local.
I got a word from the developer to solve this, you have to reinstall the plug in and download the latest version from the members area.
Let us know if you are still having problems.

Thanks for writing in.
I just spoke to the developers and updated they updated the plug in today. They added a customer request feature that solves such database issues for Canada. Please feedback to me if you still having issues.

Just got an update by the developer:
We are aware of the problem, and we have found a new data source that you will be able to do custom requests for. It appears there isn't much data in some cities, because of this we are creating a Custom Datarequest for Canada. This will process premium data for any Candian City and Category. Should be released middle of next week

Hi Randy,
This happens while I am still in the software while I am creating a project. When I tried it today I put in plumbing, find 6 databases, check all 6 and there is 994 records, then when I put in Edmonton and click next it goes to 0 records. Should I just go ahead with this or is there an error with the Canadian databases?
Thanks,
Kelly

Hmmm, this does not make sense to me, if in step 4 you have a refine data base and asks for city, then why can it not just work there? I have tried this on many different provinces and it seems to me that everything is only refined to the province level. How do you dominate local with provincial stats? I would not care so much if I had more than the initial 7500 pages to work with. But my first site will take close to 2,300. Multiply that by 8 sites and I would need 18,400 pages to fill the sites. Hate to be a pain,
Thanks,
Kelly
