Support Center

Please read our guidelines

In an effort to answer all tickets within 24 hours, WDT media has created a new customer support policy, designed to make it easier for our support champs to answer your questions faster and better. Please note this new policy goes into effect October 25, 2011...

  1. Only 1 question or topic per support ticket. If you have issues that are related to each other, please do include them in your initial support ticket. But if you have different questions or topics, you will need to open a support ticket for each topic or question. (Please note, tickets are answered in the order received, so opening multiple tickets for the same questions will only delay your response time.)
  2. No custom work provided. We had to stop offering anything that is beyond explaining how to use the product. Any custom work request will be politely declined and/or referred to third-party developers you might want to work with.
  3. Our support team endeavors to reply to all tickets within 24 hours, except on weekends and holidays. If you haven't received an initial answer within 24 hours, please open your initial ticket and ask what's going on. Our system will automatically elevate the status of your ticket.

SEO Video Sitemap Settings

Q : How To Change The Video sitemap Settings

A : You only have to do this one time, the first time that you install the plugin. Afterwards, each time you add a post with a video, the         sitemap will automatically generate and add the video to the sitemap.

To generate the sitemap for the first time, simply click the “generate video sitemap” button on the plugins settings page.

This will check all the posts on your site to see if the sitemap can find any previous videos that it can index in the sitemap.  If it does       find videos, you will see a success message with a link to click and view the generated sitemap .
If however, the plugin didn't find any videos in your post in a suitable format to add to the sitemap, you will receive an semi-error     message .
This is not a true error message, it just simply means you need to add some videos to your posts so they can be found by the   sitemap, and added. The second kind of error you could receive (very rarely will this happen) is if the plugin is not able to create  videositemap.xml file or write to the existing one due to permissions. In this case you will either see, a pretty error message saying that  the file cannot be written to, with a textarea with some code in it.  It will tell to create the file and paste the code in the file.

In reality, in this simple create a file called videositemap.xml in the folder of your wp installation. So for example if your WP site resides in a directory 'blog' (ie: http://yoursite.com/blog).  Create the file just inside the blog folder.  If your WP site resides on the root of your domain (ie: http://yoursite.com), place the file inside the root folder of your domain(usually something like public_html depending on your hosting).
Then set the permissions of this file to 777 with your FTP client of choice.
Once you've done this, now go back and click the “generate video sitemap” button and you should now receive the success message
