Support Center

Please read our guidelines

In an effort to answer all tickets within 24 hours, WDT media has created a new customer support policy, designed to make it easier for our support champs to answer your questions faster and better. Please note this new policy goes into effect October 25, 2011...

  1. Only 1 question or topic per support ticket. If you have issues that are related to each other, please do include them in your initial support ticket. But if you have different questions or topics, you will need to open a support ticket for each topic or question. (Please note, tickets are answered in the order received, so opening multiple tickets for the same questions will only delay your response time.)
  2. No custom work provided. We had to stop offering anything that is beyond explaining how to use the product. Any custom work request will be politely declined and/or referred to third-party developers you might want to work with.
  3. Our support team endeavors to reply to all tickets within 24 hours, except on weekends and holidays. If you haven't received an initial answer within 24 hours, please open your initial ticket and ask what's going on. Our system will automatically elevate the status of your ticket.

How large are your business databases?

Last Updated: Dec 06, 2011 08:40AM EST
Q, Are you wondering if Dominating Local is right for you? Specifically if our database is large enough for your offline niche?

Well, check this out: (Updated 12-6-11)

We have two US databases.

The first one is 20 million businesses large, which covers the whole US.

We then have the "extended" database that gives additional tokens like opening hours, payment methods, and more reviews. This currently has 1,007,839 business listing and 232,331 of which have additional reviews. This extended database grows daily by 50-100k.

We are about to bring the United Kingdom database online, just finishing some testing.

This will have 4 million businesses which is the whole country. We will then be processing it to gather extended data.

Keep in mind "extended" data is not necessary at all. It's has no effect on the method, rankings, value, etc. We just want to have comprehensive data in our database.

Soon after this we will add Canada, and Australia covering all businesses in both countries. So by the end of this weekend we should have all four countries available with businesses in just about any city, province.

The time to locking the extra 25% in now so they can utilize this data.

The way the software is designed is so that it's easy to update existing pages when we have new data. So say a customer builds a site with 1,000 pages using the main database, and later wants to update it with new tokens we have added. They simple click edit and save & deploy and it will regenerate the listings in the same posts.
